Me and my friends are making a news show for our channel,WKRY17, and are building many things for our weather center. We are asking for advice. We need a good radar and we know how good the radar you use is. But we can't find it.

It takes too much time to do that when you do turn around and ready to haul ass it's already hit you. But thats when a tornado is close to you like in the vid, now if its far away thats a completely different story.

not to be rude or contradict anything these brave people do, but why does everyone back up when faced with a tornado, wouldnt it be faster to turn around and haul ass in the other direction?

thats if it gets picked up by a twister...highly doubful...too low to the ground and the design allows for wind to not only pass over it...it also get pushed into the ground by the same ratios

hey, if the thing is 300 lb and made of cement, if the probe landed at 200 mph and his the ground with the bubble facing towards the ground, wouldnt it be possible for the plastic to break, even if it is bullet proof, I'm not to fond of physics, lawlz

Hey guys awesome probe! I am 14 and tornadoes is my life passion since I was 2! I want to build a probe, I have no money and no support. And I met one of the TV stations meteorologist and he told me to lighten up! Oh HELL NO! He tried to crush my dreams! I was so pissed! But I love your probes! Maybe someday I can chase with you'll! I would do it rightnow but no one with take me due to liability! But I hope someone will take me soon!
